**Notice of Collection** *Personal information on this form is being collected for the purpose of administering applications to the City of Toronto’s Road Disruption Activity Reporting System (RoDARS) that informs the public of planned roadway closures throughout the City. Personal information is collected for RoDARS under the authorities of sections 8(1), 8(2)(paras, 5, 6), 32(1), and 259 of the City of Toronto Act, 2006, Section 743-30.1, Article III.1, Chapter 743 (Streets and Sidewalks, Use of) of the City of Toronto’s Municipal Code, and in accordance with recommendation 38 of Toronto City Council Item CC27.1 adopted by City Council on February 11, 2025 (By-law 108-2025). This new RoDARS Application form is for contractors and/or subcontractors requiring access to the right-of-way that are working on Metrolinx related projects that are being administered by private consortia’s in relation to: Rapid Transit ·       Eglinton Crosstown LRT ·       Finch West LRT ·       Durham-Scarborough BRT Subways: ·       Scarborough Subway Extension ·       Eglinton Crosstown West Extension ·       Ontario Line   Utility Contractors (ie members of the Toronto Public Utility Coordination Committee (TPUCC)) who are conducting work under contract with one of Metrolinx’s consortia delivering any of the aforementioned initiatives should also be using this form.

Any changes to the time and space occupied after approval must be requested, using the Minor Amendment button that appears once your application is approved. This includes early completions! Photos are to be uploaded before and after occupation, and in some cases during, using the Upload Site Photo button that appears once your application is approved. See Conditions for the specifics.

Special Instructions:

Enter the Start Date and Start Time of the first or only RoDARS Event associated with this application, and the End Date and End Time of the last or only RoDARS Event associated with this application.

When using the Recurrence Type option Daily, the Start Time and End Time define the occupation period for each RoDARS Event in the application.

Recurrence Type *

More than one RoDARS Event (location and time) may be entered. For each location, right click once to make a point, and two times or more to make a line segment. Next, enter the Location Description, Location Type, and Duration for each location, and then "Save" each location! Once you have confirmed your road segment(s) is open, you may wish to use the "None" map options to make it easier to draw your locations without icon interference.
